I am a psychologist licensed in New Jersey and New York with over 20 years of experience in psychology, meditation, yoga and wellness. I specialize in using strength-based practices when working with clients who are experiencing overwhelming stress, anxiety, and pressure from balancing professional and personal demands. I work with a number of clients who are navigating life transitions such as graduation, marriage, parenthood, divorce, retirement, and loss of a loved one. Together, we can identify patterns contributing to stress or anxiety and develop practical, values-based goals for meaningful change.
My approach is grounded in evidence-based therapies including Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Behavior Therapy (MBCT). I am also a registered yoga teacher and am able to incorporate individualized and customized mind-body practices (such as meditation and mindfulness) when helpful and according to your comfort level.
I offer telehealth sessions for adults throughout New Jersey and New York. (I typically do not see children in my practice since I find that telehealth is usually not ideal when working with young children.)
